Fearing that this fantastically far-out feminine flower will not be interested in him as he is, he makes the desperate decision to change himself into a completely different creature! Yet upon doing so and approaching her, he soon comes to the stinging realization that it is the thing he's transformed himself into that she's unimpressed with...for her heart had already been stolen...by the genuine bee that he was beefore!
This perfectly poignant parable of self-love and acceptance is a timely reminder, in this day and age of distorted expectations and perceptions of what constitutes beauty and success, for children to simply bee themselves!
